Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on business stakeholders’ requirements.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to create effective data visualizations and analyses.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Create and implement complex DAX calculations and measures to support in-depth data analysis.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports to maintain functionality and accuracy.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users for effective use of Power BI tools.
- Offer guidance on data modeling and DAX calculations to enhance reporting quality.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and document data requirements.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance Power BI solutions for better performance and usability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions.
- Proficiency in architecting end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and data visualization concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of data warehouse concepts.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries.
- In-depth knowledge of DAX calculations and advanced data modeling techniques.
- Adaptability to evolving business requirements and priorities.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within strict timelines.
Preferred skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Power BI certifications are a plus.
