Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies, including Lean, Agile, Extreme Programming (XP), and Continuous Integration (CI), as well as knowledge of software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
- Develop and write high-quality code that complies with established standards and fulfills the required functionality using the selected project technology.
- Evaluate and understand application performance parameters to ensure optimal system performance.
- Possess a strong grasp of core data structures and algorithms, with the ability to implement them effectively using the preferred programming language.
- Consistently produce code that adheres to standards while delivering desired functionality aligned with project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with basic professional experience.
- For roles in the USA, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field is required, with no minimum experience necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in developing features such as web services and writing queries on existing database tables.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Lean, Agile, and Extreme Programming (XP).
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment or introductory training in Lean and Agile practices.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) processes and their application.
- General understanding of how technology choices impact various stages of the software development lifecycle.
