Key Responsibilities:
- Join the critical Data Privacy & Protection (DPP) team within SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Develop as a full-stack cloud-native developer by designing, coding, testing, and ensuring quality assurance for complex product features within the DPP portfolio using the latest technologies in an innovative environment.
- Gain a deep understanding of the underlying runtime of the cloud platform and be adaptable in developing and building cloud applications on Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes platforms or runtimes.
- Play an essential role in a fully operational, cross-functional Scrum team that designs, develops, operates, and manages cloud-native applications, as well as managing customer and stakeholder interactions.
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment that strives towards unified team goals.
- Take full responsibility and ownership of tasks while demonstrating high standards of quality, agility, reliability, and efficiency.
- Contribute as a team player, collaborating to ensure the delivery of state-of-the-art cloud-native applications to customers.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude toward challenges and team goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Solid understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies.
- Passion for learning new products and technology.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and deploying software applications.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficient in Core Java, JEE, Node.js, Spring Boot, JSON, UI5, REST/ODATA, and relational databases (e.g., HANA, MySQL).
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with a team-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes (K8S), OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), JavaScript, Ajax, and CAP.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD delivery concepts.
