Key Responsibilities:
- Build and test components for digital platform development on a cloud platform, including analytical models on rich data within the Digital Platform.
- Develop and test web and mobile applications on the cloud platform to meet Caterpillar customer needs.
- Independently work on programming and development tasks within a platform or application team, including cloud projects and proof-of-concept assignments for innovative ideas and technologies.
- Learn and apply new tools or technologies to enhance engineering processes.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and support of platform or application components.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completed at least one year of a postgraduate degree or three years of an undergraduate degree with an academic score above 75% or a CGPA above 7.5.
- Background in Computer Science or Information Technology (CSE/IT) is required.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient in programming in one or more languages: Java, Python, C#, or C++.
- Possesses good UI/UX skills.
- Capable of working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Shows a passion for technology and a strong inclination to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and quick learning ability are essential.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Big Data concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud-native tools is beneficial.
