Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in C/C++ programming, Linux development, and performance engineering.
- Hands-on experience with application and system profiling tools such as Vtune, Nvidia Nsight, and Linux-native utilities.
- Design, implement, and support high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable and robust storage, high-bandwidth interconnects, and cloud-based computing architectures.
- Leverage strong Linux OS skills to optimize applications for low latency and high throughput.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree with no required work experience or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, multi-threading, and inter-process communication in a Linux environment.
- Experience in performance engineering, including profiling and tuning applications/systems for high performance.
- Strong debugging skills using gdb and Linux system utilities to troubleshoot timing-sensitive distributed applications.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with GPU/CUDA programming.
- Strong knowledge of parallel programming technologies such as MPI, SLURM, OPENMP, and UCX.
- Proven expertise in Linux systems, with a flavor-agnostic approach across SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, and Ubuntu.
