Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for ingesting data from various sources.
- Implement data transformations to ensure data is prepared for downstream applications.
- Utilize GCP services, including BigQuery, to build scalable and efficient data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines for efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity is maintained throughout the entire data lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion and processing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL with experience in relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and other key GCP resources (e.g., Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with data ingestion and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred skills:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university.
