Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop distributed real-time trading systems for the FICC Credit Trading business.
- Analyze and enhance existing systems and workflows, upgrading them to a modern, scalable microservice architecture with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with a global team to execute and align with business objectives effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- In-depth understanding of Java programming concepts.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with real-time distributed systems.
- Proficiency in multi-threaded/concurrent programming.
- Familiarity with low-latency messaging, network protocols, and network I/O in Java.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of drive and ownership.
- Knowledge of financial markets.
