Key Responsibilities:
- Debug software products using systematic tests to ensure and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and testing programs.
- Analyze and document test standards and procedures for consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of test results to assist in software debugging and modification.
- Analyze test results to verify existing functionality and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with development engineers to resolve software issues and problems.
- Provide feedback and contribute to the preparation of technical assessments of programming languages, systems, and computational software.
- Ensure seamless integration of quality computing into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
- Perform audits and tests on software products according to established test plans and procedures without developing the test plans themselves, if in a non-engineer role.
