Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather comprehensive business requirements.
- Conduct workshops and surveys to collect information on current processes and desired outcomes.
- Analysis and Documentation:
- Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Create detailed process maps, use cases, and data models to support development and testing efforts.
- Solution Design:
- Collaborate with software developers and architects to design solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical constraints.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist project managers in defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and address issues or changes in requirements as needed.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate software solutions against business requirements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Provide regular updates on project status and facilitate clear communication among all parties.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance software development processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Business Analysis or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL).
- Familiarity with software development languages and technologies.
