Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Understanding and Software Design
- Assist in understanding product/software requirements and contribute to its design.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas and follow the software development life cycle.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for system issues and problem statements.
- Identify and implement ideas to improve system performance and availability.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible design solutions.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts for a detailed investigation of software requirements.
- Consult with project managers to gather information about software capabilities.
- Coding and Software/Module Development
- Evaluate operational feasibility by assessing analysis, problem definition, and software requirements.
- Develop and automate software validation processes by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Analyze data to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
- Ensure error-free code by eliminating bugs and preventing test failures.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Raise all codes per the defined project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Compile comprehensive and accurate documentation and reports as required.
- Coordinate daily project status and progress with the team and document the updates.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, and trace results to quality risks to report to stakeholders.
- Status Reporting and Customer Focus
- Capture all client requirements and clarifications to ensure high-quality work.
- Gather regular feedback to ensure smooth and on-time project delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices, new programming languages, and better support team members.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Document solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and reports, from client proposal to software implementation.
- Maintain professional interaction with customers through emails, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
- Provide timely responses to customer requests, ensuring no complaints internally or externally.
