Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within cross-functional, agile project teams to integrate quality into the development process, from requirements definition to final delivery.
- Work with subject matter experts to define criteria for effectively testing business processes.
- Collaborate with test development experts to design efficient automated test scripts.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify process gaps and propose solutions to address them.
- Design, develop, and support frameworks for test infrastructure, providing automation expertise to development teams.
- Gather business requirements from users and collaborate with teams to design test cases/scripts for functional and regression test automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated scripts using a test automation tool, promoting reusability and maintainability.
- Identify and track defects throughout the stages of testing using a defect management tool.
- Report test progress and the status of all test-related activities to delivery teams.
- Define effective and efficient testing strategies.
- Create automated test processes and establish scripting standards to ensure script durability and reusability.
- Minimize reliance on manual testing by closing gaps with automated testing in collaboration with SMEs.
- Automate test cases as necessary to support changes in business processes.
- Improve test case design, test script creation processes, and ensure timely execution of automated scripts.
- Prepare for system and software testing.
- Set up and maintain the testing collaboration site(s).
- Collaborate with Agile team members and customer experts to identify, create, and update test scenarios for all testing cycles.
- Work with Agile team members and customer experts to assign testing roles and logins for all testers.
- Collaborate with project and program managers to identify potential testing risks and issues.
