Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Platform Specialists to receive detailed business and user requirement specifications that outline the program’s objectives.
- Assist in preparing technical requirements documents, including system flowcharts to visually represent the flow of information through computers and related equipment.
- Support the analysis of business requirements, ensuring the designed solution aligns with these needs.
- Aid in transforming detailed requirements into a comprehensive systems design document, focusing on how to deliver the required functionality.
- Help compile detailed technical specifications for developers or IT Programmers to implement the designs.
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the development phase, including procedures for application use and security.
- Assist in identifying and resolving program logic or data errors and make necessary recommendations or escalate issues as needed.
- Work with teams to support the installation and deployment of applications.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of solutions in a production environment.
- Support all code sets and implementations in production according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Help write and distribute task descriptions for operating and maintaining the solution in a production environment.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Basic knowledge of multi-technology application design best practices.
- Developing ability to view application environments holistically, including hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage.
- Growing skills in working with abstract concepts, alongside strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Fundamental technical understanding of development and platform engineering.
- Excellent client-centric approach with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
- Highly organized with strong planning abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including technical teams and clients.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with project management principles to ensure successful execution of client projects.
- Ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of internal methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Basic knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of deployment and release management across different environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and source code repositories.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant DevOps certification (preferred).
- Agile-related certification (preferred).
- Certification in cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
- Certification in scripting and programming languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby (preferred).
