Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize data landscapes, reports, and visualizations related to headcount, in collaboration with the Simplification & Enablement Manager.
- Ensure end users (HR, Finance, People Leaders) understand where to access headcount data based on their specific needs.
- Identify, scope, and lead or contribute to enterprise-wide HR simplification projects where headcount and C&B costs are involved or impacted, such as job structure and restructuring tracking.
- Collaborate closely with Finance to govern and manage the use of headcount and C&B data, ensuring appropriate access, data segmentation, and provide necessary data for CEO letters, Ops Reviews, and Finance processes.
- Manage the quarterly headcount forecasting process in partnership with Workforce Planning and Analytics teams.
- Populate HR-related data for enterprise-wide bowler, including metrics such as attrition and headcount.
- Partner with People Operations and Digital Technology teams to resolve headcount-related issues within systems like Workday and Vernova Data Lake.
- Work with HR Reporting and Analytics teams to ensure consistent understanding and application of headcount and C&B data.
- Oversee the technical architecture and maintenance of the GE Vernova HR bowler, focusing on optimization through automation and cost-efficient resources.
- Support Workforce Planning and Analytics representatives with reporting, forecasting, and modeling of headcount and C&B costs, especially during restructuring and M&A activities.
- Assist with HR data requests related to Lean initiatives, working with HR Reporting and Analytics teams to compile relevant data and insights.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) with sufficient relevant work experience in HR reporting, analytics, technology, and/or operations.
- Proven experience in HR reporting and analytics, with a track record of developing and implementing strategies, ideally within multinational organizations.
- Hands-on experience in quantitative data validation, analysis, and interpretation at corporate, regional, or global levels, using systems such as Workday and Tableau.
- Proficient in gathering and visualizing data from diverse sources.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve issues, with a focus on standardizing, simplifying, and driving efficiency.
- Ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities.
- Effective collaborator, with experience influencing, coaching, and coordinating within and beyond the team.
- Knowledge of and experience in protecting sensitive data.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong eye for design and aesthetics in data presentation and information sharing.
- Proven ability to independently lead projects through all stages, including planning, kickoff, work coordination, proposal, implementation, and adoption.
- Experience providing technical guidance and counsel to HR stakeholders at various levels, with the ability to adapt advisory style and tailor solutions to different audiences.
