Key Responsibilities:
Problem and Scope Definition:
- Support the formulation of the problem statement and define the scope.
- Delve deeper into the issues to identify root causes.
- Construct a detailed problem statement, including the problem description.
- Identify key stakeholders and conduct stakeholder analysis to understand their impact.
- Contribute to project planning and effort estimation within the defined scope.
- Assist in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Requirements Gathering:
- Demonstrate strong skills in gathering requirements, guided by engagement management.
- Support requirement gathering sessions.
- Organize and sequence requirements into a user requirements document.
- Write clear, validated requirements and manage any changes.
- Use appropriate tools to record, track, and manage requirements.
Business Analysis:
- Review and analyze relevant documentation to understand the organization’s functions and capabilities.
- Conduct research to support the development of comprehensive solutions.
- Structure recommendations and supporting data logically to formulate a solid and understandable business case.
- Utilize business modeling techniques to graphically depict various activities, processes, and data, including:
- Business process modeling.
- Process flow modeling.
- Data flow modeling.
- Stakeholder analysis.
Engagement Delivery:
- Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of all solutions and recommendations, including supporting artifacts.
- Provide exceptional engagement support, including project plan development and management as needed.
- Develop high-quality deliverables that are “review-ready” on the first submission.
- Proactively share ongoing perspectives and insights.
- Exhibit strong listening and communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
Thought Leadership:
- Conduct market research and gather engagement-specific inputs for service offerings, such as case studies.
- Research industry trends and support the development of innovative ideas for practice thought leaders.
- Contribute to the development, research, and design of consulting and domain knowledge through:
- Articles, whitepapers, collateral development, eBooks, infographics, leadership forums, collaboratory sessions, Yammer, etc.
Business Development:
- Support Cognizant leadership in developing RFIs, RFPs, and service offerings.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships at various levels within client organizations.
Practice Development:
- Support practice-building initiatives as planned by practice leadership.
Revenue Management:
- Ensure utilization targets are met by seeking internal or external opportunities as needed.
Knowledge Management:
- Assist in creating client and practice-related materials (e.g., deliverables, solutions, industry best practices, standards) for Cognizant’s knowledge management repository.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry field (Required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering (Preferred).
