Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor server, network, database, and application availability 24x7x365, providing real-time support from offshore India.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for all types of infrastructure issues.
- Triage alerts received from the monitoring tool and escalate as needed based on predefined processes.
- Regularly review monitoring tool dashboards for alarms and raise tickets when necessary.
- Collect basic information needed for troubleshooting across various technologies and perform standard predefined troubleshooting steps.
- Resolve basic and common issues on the first call, escalating tickets to the next level only when necessary.
- Adhere to customer-defined SLA standards and make every effort to manage tickets within these standards.
- Identify repetitive false alerts and assist in the tuning process.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and the team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Keep operation and procedure manuals up to date with current documentation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCOM and SCSM tools.
- Ideally, at least 1 year of hands-on experience in monitoring infrastructure.Experience with remote infrastructure management is a plus.
- ITIL knowledge and certification would be an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with US clients.
- Must be a team player, working collaboratively with operations and engineering fulfillment teams.
- Willingness to learn, implement, and support new technologies such as SquaredUp.
