Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction and diagnose financial drivers, leveraging analytics to make informed recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, addressing financial issues and providing valuable insights to support key business initiatives.
- Contribute inputs for the monthly review of expenses and capital, supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, and analyzing variances with operational analytics and insights.
- Interpret financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow documents.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s financial processes and develop proficient knowledge of the company’s operations and business.
- Support the business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that align with the organization’s business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies, maintaining the integrity of both external and internal reporting.
- Apply foundational principles and proactively contribute to projects through research and data analysis, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
- Support priority projects by maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information through standardized reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and demonstrated competence.
- Typically 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Preferred skills:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
