Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze advanced algorithms and architectures for video transcoding and machine learning SoCs.
- Analyze and map data center workloads to ASIC architecture.
- Develop performance and functional models at various levels of abstraction to validate the architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in ASIC design, verification, silicon bring-up, firmware, and software development to ensure successful production deployment of SoCs.
- Create architecture documentation and other necessary materials for the use and integration of your designs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completed coursework in computer architecture, covering concepts like microprocessor architecture, memory systems, and on-chip interconnection networks.
- Familiarity with C, C++, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Must have work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
- Currently pursuing or has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or possesses equivalent practical experience. The degree must be completed before joining Meta.
Preferred skills:
- Currently pursuing or has obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical fields.
- Experience and knowledge in video, image, or signal processing and related standards.
- Experience and knowledge in machine learning architectures and frameworks.
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing power versus performance trade-offs in ASIC design.
