Key Responsibilities for Analyst:
- Collate, produce, and report management information related to Risk Weighted Assets to enable senior management and business line heads to monitor business levels and fluctuations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Provide commentaries and various value-added data to facilitate the timely production of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packs.
- Assist in the production of other externally reportable reports, such as CoREP and Pillar 3 reporting, as necessary.
- Liaise with other areas of the business globally, including Treasury, Product Control, IT, Statutory Reporting, Operations, and the Barclays Group Regulatory and Treasury teams, to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.
- Consistently meet reporting deadlines and deliver against overall targets.
- Work within a team, cross-training with others to ensure coverage.
- Ensure completeness of reporting by reconciling the balances used for reporting against the final balance sheet values.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of static data through reconciliations and review.
- Respond to ad hoc queries from the business or other internal stakeholders swiftly, ensuring compliance with internal policies regarding the distribution of sensitive data.
- Participate in projects involving systems/process updates and test the implementation of these updates as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining controls around manual inputs and complex formulas, bringing any limitations in current processes and controls to the attention of senior management.
- Support the demands of Project ‘Platinum’.
Key Responsibilities for Data Analyst:
- Ratify technology solutions and produce concise design documents, including Source to Target mappings and data manipulation/processing logic, to meet solution requirements in line with team and group strategies and architectures.
- Clarify business requirements and challenge demands to ensure high-quality candidate solutions are created.
- Ensure that the build outcomes delivered by our teams are consistent with the produced designs, meeting the requested solutions.
- Support the development of design strategies for the supported technical areas.
- Provide ad-hoc consultancy to the business on technical matters as required.
