Key Responsibilities for Data Analyst:
- Understand Amazon Seller Services products and services and track/report business performance and problem areas using appropriate metrics.
- Work cross-functionally with the account management team to resolve problems with sellers.Use Amazon’s tools to problem-solve and validate solutions.
- Collaborate to define goals around key operational metrics.
- Recommend business actions based on analytical findings, including defining new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve seller performance.
Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Develop new analytical tools by interfacing with operations and program stakeholders.
- Create models and metrics to provide insights on DP experience and performance.
- Own the Flex business metrics reporting, including data pipelines and report structure, and define the main metrics and KPIs.
- Drive process efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the network to identify new opportunities and insights.
- Perform deep-dives to find the root causes behind variances in key parameters over a given time period.
- Partner with BIEs and Data Engineering teams within LMAQ to develop visualization dashboards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in SQL or ETL, Microsoft Excel, and Quicksight.
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across business areas.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred skills:
- 1+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R, including scripting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions.
- Previous experience creating detailed Business Requirement Documentation.
- Experience working with very large datasets.
