Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze variances in all profit and loss account items, arriving at logical conclusions for such variances.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and external statutory financial accounting requirements, record-keeping, and reporting for auditing functions.
- Support Executives and Managers with research assignments and compliance-related work.
- Evaluate internal control systems and procedures, prepare audit reports highlighting shortcomings, and provide necessary recommendations.
- Conduct tax audits to ensure proper disclosures are made and various tax regulations are complied with.
- Assist in the preparation of Audit Programs, following up and gathering information from clients.
- Stay continually updated with developments in audit-related areas and ensure teams are informed of these updates.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Graduation and IPCC both groups cleared, or one group cleared and awaiting results for the second.
- No prior experience required.
Preferred skills:
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort in interacting with senior executives both within the firm and at the client.
