Key Responsibilities:
- Experience working with the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSMS, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Understanding business requirements in a BI context and designing data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Developing Power BI reports and having knowledge of UI/UX development.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- Creating visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
- Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Translating data into informative reports and visuals through analytical thinking.
- Implementing row-level security on data and understanding application security layer models in Power BI.
- Expertise in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- Using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
- Developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards.
- Possessing very good communication skills to effectively discuss requirements with client teams and internal teams.
- Demonstrating sound logical and analytical reasoning skills.
- Managing the software development life cycle (SDLC) effectively.
