Key Responsibilities:
- Establish productive, long-lasting working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, leveraging excellent communication skills.
- Lead data pipeline design with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to thoroughly understand and address business challenges.
- Engage with a wide range of Data Engineering tools and new technologies, and handle diverse IT, compliance, and security-related issues.
- Design and develop world-class technology solutions to solve business problems across multiple client engagements.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand business requirements, client infrastructure, platforms, and overall strategy, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Work closely with the AI team to build world-class solutions and define AI strategy.
- Demonstrate strong logical structuring and problem-solving skills with expert-level understanding of databases, and a desire to turn data into actionable insights.
- Exhibit strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in developing ETL, OLAP-based, and analytical applications.
- Proficient in ingesting batch and streaming data from various data sources.
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL using any RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
- Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architectures.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage/Analytics, and Azure Database Migration Services.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and using Git for code management.
- Comfortable working on Agile projects.
Preferred skills:
- Foundational understanding of the generic development process for Big Data analytics.
- Proficiency in technology areas including machine learning and data science.
- Clear and precise communication skills.
