Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, code, and validate automated tests for software components, feature enhancements, or new products.
- Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to be developed.
- Collaborate with the Development team to capture and reuse automated test suites, and work with the Release Engineering team to build and deploy the automation build on QA, release, or production servers.
- Trace test results on regularly scheduled test updates and promptly link results back to specific quality risks.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a BS/B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent degree.
- Have 0-3 years of experience in white box testing and leading load testing efforts.
Preferred skills:
- Possess experience in authentication, authorization, and web security testing.
- Have a good understanding of the role of automated testing within the software development lifecycle.
- Have experience working in Agile Scrum or Extreme Programming environments, participating in estimation and planning.
- Have professional experience in creating frameworks for running performance tests.
