Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Internal Audit, Concurrent Audit, and Advisory engagements in the Non-Financial Services sector.
- Effectively perform technical components of risk assessments to provide an accurate view of the client’s current risk state.
- Conduct end-to-end business process analyses and design.
- Gather, synthesize, and analyze data using appropriate tools and technologies.
- Assess and design internal controls by applying an understanding of internal control design frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Understand the client’s business, interpret sector trends, and learn leading practices.
- Interact effectively with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds to serve clients efficiently.
- Enhance the quality and efficiency of recommended conduct risk solutions by applying relevant frameworks, conducting research, and performing analyses.
- Conduct internal audits by leveraging approved processes and methodologies.
- Collect and organize data to set the stage for a successful assessment of the client’s internal audit processes and controls.
- Enhance the quality of assurance engagements by identifying risks, performing testing, researching governing regulations, and developing reports.
- Form a core Extended Enterprise Risk Management (EERM) skillset through proactive research and participation in internal and external initiatives.
- Improve the quality of EERM solutions by effectively applying relevant frameworks, conducting research, and performing analyses.
- Enhance the effectiveness of the client’s Operational Risk Management (ORM) system analysis.
- Leverage industry-leading tools and frameworks to increase the effectiveness of ORM solutions.
- Develop a core technology and data risk skillset through proactive research and participation in internal and external initiatives.
- Utilize industry-leading frameworks, methods, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of technology and data risk solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Fresh graduate or 1 year of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit, preferably in the Non-Financial Services domain.
- Pursuing ACCA/B.Com/M.Com with post-qualification experience in the Non-Financial Services space.
- Possess strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Develop and build a client base.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and team management skills.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to develop creative and efficient solutions.
- Manage client expectations through effective communication, technical knowledge, and responsiveness.
Preferred skills:
- Fresh graduates or those working with any of the Big 4/Large consulting firms with experience in internal or statutory audits of financial services clients.
- Industry candidates should preferably have experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, or operations departments of the aforementioned entities.
- Strong knowledge of processes and systems in their respective areas of operations.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience in managing teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and articulate communication.
