Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the development team to conceptualize, develop, and sustain backend systems and components for our cyber security products.
- Produces clean, efficient, and scalable code utilizing languages such as NodeJS or Go.
- Engages closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver superior software solutions.
- Participates in code reviews and offers constructive feedback to uphold code quality and maintainability standards.
- Identifies and resolves software defects and performance issues through debugging processes.
- Stays abreast of the latest trends and advancements in backend development and cyber security domains.
- Assists in the creation of technical specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation.
- Contributes to the ongoing enhancement of development processes and best practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrates strong programming skills in one or more languages such as NodeJs or Go.
- Exhibits familiarity with backend development frameworks, libraries, and tools.
- Possesses a basic understanding of web technologies, protocols, and APIs.
- Shows knowledge of databases, SQL, and database design principles.
- Displays a passion for cyber security and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends.
- Demonstrates good problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Possesses strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experienced in working with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Possesses an understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
