Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing, controlling, and monitoring periodic compliance testing under supervision.
- Provide active support in managing overall financial forecasting processes.
- Review financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure the accuracy of regulatory calculations and submissions.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions.
- Analyze journals, generate data analysis and reports, and assist with variance analysis.
- Compile annual audit information for external auditors.
- Act as a partner in the accounting process, offering recommendations for improving efficiency through automation.
- Analyze past performance financial data, prepare budgets, and forecasts for business unit management.
- Implement effective financial controls, including reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
- Proactively support activities of the accounts receivable function within the assigned business unit.
- Execute month-end activities, including journal entries, processing loan and bank account entries, and reconciling accounts.
- Manage cash activities, prepare bank reconciliations for company accounts, and process necessary bank entries.
- Regularly review tax calculations and reports for compliance, including sales tax management.
- Review the credit vetting process to ensure alignment with financial procedures.
