Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and critical processes.
- Review system and application logs, and confirm the completion of scheduled tasks like backups.
- Investigate and propose innovative and automated methods for system administration duties.
- Identify strategies that optimize resource utilization and offer scalability advantages within a SaaS Cloud setup.
- Develop and update programmatic and technical documentation to facilitate efficient planning and execution.
Skills:
- Proficient in Linux/Solaris operating systems.
- Familiar with UNIX, Microsoft Windows, and their respective operating systems.
- Skilled in administering JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache servers.
- Experienced in managing VMware hosts and virtual environments.
- Knowledgeable in Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
- Possesses a fair understanding of core services in AWS.
