Key Responsibilities:
- Create precise SystemC/TLM software models for CPUs (including ARM and RISC-V architectures) and various hardware devices suitable for constructing Virtual Platforms.
- Validate model functionality against behavior models and/or RTL using SystemC and/or UVM/SystemVerilog, integrating unit testing and debugging methods as per the defined test plan.
- Construct Virtual Platforms for hardware designs at the system level, facilitating the loading/booting of Linux/Mentor Embedded Linux (MEL)/Android. Additionally, simulate and debug customer software on these Virtual Platforms.
- Produce comprehensive Functional Specifications and Design Documents adhering to professional standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or possess equivalent experience, preferably with a minimum Very Good with honors degree.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrate proficiency in C/C++ programming and Embedded Linux development through substantial experience.
- Possess fundamental knowledge of digital circuits and digital design/systems, with additional experience in programming using SystemC considered advantageous.
- Exhibit adeptness in utilizing Linux/Unix operating systems and proficiency in scripting/scripting languages such as Make, Tcl, or Perl.
- Display well-developed written and oral communication skills essential for effective collaboration.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and adhering to schedules with precision.
