Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate mapping documents in adherence to the mapping process.
- Work towards delivering initial solution drafts for ETL/Reporting/Conversion coding by promptly identifying deferrable details about the mapping.
- Provide support for DSD creation and responses.
- Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customers, and/or vendors to secure acceptance of the design.
- Assist ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on the mappings established.
- Collaborate closely with the configuration team and DBAs to ensure configuration synchronicity with interfaces and mappings.
- Refine mapping documents by adding detail and addressing deferred material as questions are resolved.
- Utilize SQL, data models, data element dictionaries, and schemas for data and business analysis.
- Develop unit test cases for the designated area of responsibility.
- Validate test plan results to meet the objectives outlined in the detailed design.
- Update technical specifications and mappings as required.
- Provide support for Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess analytical and data analysis skills within a technical environment, preferably in SQL.
- Have knowledge of healthcare, particularly within a claims processing environment, preferably in Medicaid.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Preferred skills:
- Possesses experience with QNXT/Schema or Facets.
- Demonstrates proficiency in data mapping.
- Holds healthcare and business knowledge in areas such as member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, and pharmacy claims.
- Exhibits good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates good to excellent SQL skills.
- Has experience with conversion, interface, and reporting tasks.
