Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Workday projects and enhancements within a DevOps model, addressing both functional and technical aspects to support the existing Workday implementation.
- Provide support for Workday Operations, including incident management, bi-annual upgrades, tenant management, and maintenance activities, exercising discretion and judgment with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with Business, product owners, and technical leads to refine requirements, offering recommendations on solutions’ nature, scope, and complexity, while closely coordinating with 3rd party integrators.
- Develop Workday functional solutions, custom reports, and Workday documents, and provide support for integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, BIRTs, or other available methods.
- Participate in and contribute to configuration and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues to resolution, ensuring the smooth functioning of Workday systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field experience.
- Demonstrate project-level expertise in Software Development, Database concepts, and Data Management (RDBMS) including SQL.
- Exhibit a strong grasp of key HR system concepts, with a clear understanding of the interdependencies between different systems and their downstream impacts.
- Understand integration frameworks encompassing SFTP, File Encryption, Middleware, Web servers, Multi Factor Authentication, SSO/Auth Provider, SaaS, and Version Control Systems.
- Display a robust understanding of data integrity and data privacy requirements.
- Capable of effectively communicating status and risk to both the team and the Manager.
- Proficient in diagnosing problems informed by data and leading correction efforts, employing rigorous logic to identify effective solutions while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
- Work collaboratively in team environments to achieve shared goals.
- Prioritize quality, data accuracy, and system integrity in all tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to adhere to established styles and processes, and quickly adapt to learning new technologies.
Preferred skills:
- Possessing a strong understanding of the Workday HR system, Salesforce platform, or Mulesoft Cloud hub is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrating intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of Change and Release Management processes.
