Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirements gathering and project scoping sessions involving subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to define business data needs effectively.
- Develop, construct, and enhance the data architecture alongside optimizing extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines for accessibility by Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business users.
- Collaborate with analysts to expand value-driven capabilities, encompassing data integrations, transformations, model features, and statistical and machine learning models.
- Champion standards in data reliability, integrity, and governance to ensure the delivery of accurate, consistent, and dependable data sets, business intelligence products, and analyses.
- Interact with the analyst community, engaging in discussions to comprehend critical user journeys and identify inefficiencies in data sourcing. Promote best practices, and lead analyst training sessions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
- Accumulates at least 1 year of experience in roles related to data engineering or business intelligence.
- Demonstrates proficiency in relational databases, including conducting SQL queries, defining databases, and designing schemas.
- Exhibits experience with at least one programming language like Python, Java, C++, etc.
Preferred skills:
- Possesses a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Demonstrates experience with data warehouses, distributed data platforms, and data lakes.
- Capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Displays excellent business and technical communication skills, along with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates structured thinking skills, enabling the breakdown of multi-dimensional problems effectively.
