Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within an Agile (Scrum) development team, operating in a fast-paced environment, as a software developer.
- Interpret business requirements and transform them into user-friendly software solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned work items encompassing User Stories, ensuring their completion within the end-to-end development lifecycle.
- Engage in technical design dialogues and actively participate in the implementation of solutions.
- Evaluate implemented solutions with a discerning eye, identifying areas for quality enhancement, performance optimization, or architectural refinement.
- Document technical issues encountered during user story implementation, configuration modifications, and deployment challenges, and communicate findings to the team.
- Contribute to Production Support tasks as necessitated by project demands.
- Foster collaboration with software developers stationed in various geographic locations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a B. Tech or B.E degree in Computer Science or related engineering streams, or an M.S. in Computer Science.
- Demonstrate 0-2 years of software development expertise with Java.
Preferred skills:
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of object-oriented development principles and Java programming language.
- Display proficiency in addressing concurrent programming challenges, including multi-threading, race conditions, and deadlocks.
- Demonstrate familiarity with multithreading concepts and asynchronous methods of code execution.
- Showcase knowledge or experience working with RDBMS systems like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Possess familiarity or experience with RESTful APIs, with a plus if experienced with Django.
- Any exposure to Python is considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with source control management tools like Git and TFS.
- Proficiency in utilizing ALM tools such as Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) or Jira.
- Display a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and domains required by the project.
- Possess a high-energy, proactive, and approachable demeanor, enjoying the challenge of solving diverse problems.
- Demonstrate proven problem-solving abilities and a capacity for creative thinking.
- Exhibit the ability to positively engage with all members of the development team, cross-functional teams, and product teams.
- Capable of initiating and completing tasks with minimal supervision, portraying a self-starting attitude.
