Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute month-end journal entries along with generating pertinent financial reports.
- Aid in the reconciliation processes for balance sheets and bank statements.
- Manage the creation and processing of purchase orders while overseeing invoices and collections.
- Monitor and analyze team expenses, intercompany transactions, fixed deposits, and journals.
- Support the accounts receivable function, including credit assessment, new account setup, cash collection, and query resolution.
- Assist accounts payable activities, ensuring adherence to payment agreements with vendors.
- Handle cash allocation within the financial system and contribute to client remittance reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate client master data, monitoring account aging against actual debtor status.
- Address vendor inquiries concerning accounts, ensuring timely communication of progress and resolutions.
- Adhere to industry-standard accounting practices advocated by both experts and the company.
- Keep accounts receivable and payable statuses updated and maintained.
- Assist accountants by preparing administrative financial data and reports as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Possession of a diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Preference given to candidates with 0-2 years of experience in Banking BPO.
- Candidates with a university degree or equivalent, entailing a minimum of 3 years of formal studies in Accounting and Commerce, are encouraged to apply.
