Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a foundational understanding of industry lexicon, competitor landscape, sub-verticals, and related best practices to offer recommendations for specific functional processes.
- Demonstrate basic comprehension of industry standards to document existing customer compliance and identify gaps.
- Exhibit a basic understanding of processes within relevant functional areas (e.g., Telecom – Fulfillment, Assurance, Workforce Management, Billing).
- Document or guide the documentation of simple as-is customer processes.
- Appreciate the context of customer requirements in specific engagements.
- Suggest appropriate analytics algorithms based on business situations, considering fundamental assumptions in the algorithms.
- Collaborate with other data scientists to understand and provide quality assurance for algorithm choices from a business perspective.
- Align deliverables with customer requirements, offering business acumen to avoid theoretical output.
- Engage in conversations with customers to explain the rationale for chosen approaches, including pros and cons.
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of Advanced Analytics solutions and services in client consulting environments.
- Define key business problems, formulate mathematical approaches, gather data, and develop, analyze, draw conclusions, and present findings to clients.
- Assist clients in identifying the type of analytics and management data that directly contributes to improving market share or other client-defined metrics.
- Identify differentiators, map them to the current environment, and design improvement plans.
- Discover new opportunities for business optimization through analytics and statistical modeling.
- Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects when necessary.

Preferred skills:
- Proficient in using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint with a strong skill set.
- Familiarity with database query tools, particularly in SQL.
- Possess a basic understanding of data warehouse architecture.
- Familiarity with various Analytical Tools, Platforms, and Frameworks.
