Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, enhance, and test financial software applications in MIS Tech, primarily utilizing Java/J2EE technology stack to align with business process requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills when designing and developing solutions for business requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing feature development of web applications based on service-oriented architecture, encompassing UI, Services, and databases.
  • Collaborate with development team leads/architects on the technical and architectural direction of projects, engaging with business analysts, developers, and QA analysts (both in-house and vendor).
  • Evaluate functional requirements for new requests and translate them into meaningful design and development tasks.
  • Work with cross-functional, globally dispersed development teams to support development efforts aimed at meeting business requirements.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation and procedures for the installation and maintenance of software applications.
  • Actively participate in design, architecture, and code reviews within a collaborative development environment.
  • Operate in an Agile environment, monitoring and tracking progress towards key deliverables.
  • Provide Production Support for applications by assisting the team in solving Production Incidents, conducting root cause analysis, implementing code defect fixes, performing data analysis, and troubleshooting issues.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Science.
  • Possess 0-3 years of overall software development experience.

Preferred skills:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and development principles.
  • Bring experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with a solid understanding of Web Services (REST and SOAP).
  • Have hands-on experience with Java-based frameworks, including JPA, Springboot, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microservices and design patterns.
  • Possess experience in Agile Scrum methodologies, with familiarity/experience in other Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approaches.
  • Showcase good knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Have experience working with IDE tools such as JBOSS Studio, Eclipse, or similar.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
