Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate invoices and check requests for accuracy and compliance.
- Initiate and actively participate in continuous improvement projects within the invoicing process.
- Maintain a consistently high level of efficiency and accuracy in all invoicing activities.
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of adequate controls over the invoicing process.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports to meet management requirements.
- Verify the accurate deduction of withholding rates.
- Conduct vendor account reconciliation, resolving discrepancies and obtaining necessary sign-offs.
- Analyze aged vendor balances and address any resulting issues.
- Review debit balances in vendor accounts and facilitate their resolution.
- Scrutinize open Purchase Orders, identifying and highlighting exceptions.
- Perform duplicate invoice checks to prevent errors.
- Collaborate with Chartered Accountants to obtain remittance certificates.
- Address level 2 support inquiries from suppliers and internal customers.
- Generate, analyze, and clear the Goods Received/Invoice Received (GRIR) report.
- Review and promptly resolve all audit queries.
- Understand and process Goods in Transit and accrual entries during the periodic closing of books.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree/ CA
Preferred skills:
- Possesses a strong comprehension of international accounting practices, particularly for the South Pacific region.
- Proficient in using MS Office/Google Suite for various tasks.
- Prior experience working with SAP, showcasing familiarity with the system.
- Understanding of the procurement process is desirable.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Exhibits analytical skills and the ability to perform under stress.
- Shows dedication towards achieving excellence in tasks and responsibilities.
