Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to establish test strategies and formulate comprehensive test plans.
- Test Case Design: Develop detailed test cases and test scripts aligned with project requirements and functional specifications.
- Test Execution: Execute both manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure their resolution in subsequent releases.
- Defect Tracking: Document and report defects, monitor their status, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and current test documentation, including test cases, results, and testing procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering insights on design and usability from a testing perspective.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the testing process and product quality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrate proven experience as a Test Engineer or in an equivalent quality assurance role.
- Exhibit a robust understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Showcase proficiency in test automation utilizing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- Bring experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner as an additional advantage.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to effectively work in an agile development environment.
- Possess or actively pursue ISTQB or a similar certification as a valuable asset.
