Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as project managers and technical leads, to discern user requirements for a feature.
- Initiate the integration of continuous feedback loops to assess customer value.
- Participate in the development of processes for architecting product/solution features.
- Assist in creating proposals by testing design hypotheses and refining code plans under the guidance of technical leadership.
- Generate code to test technical solutions and contribute to validation efforts.
- Contribute to the creation of design documents for simple designs or user stories with oversight.
- Assist in determining the technology to be leveraged and its interactions.
- Learn to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
- Write code and learn to make it extensible and maintainable.
- Apply diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability principles.
- Understand when the code is ready for sharing and delivery.
- Apply coding patterns and best practices.
- Review work items to understand product features in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Assist in breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimations.
- Contribute to the operation of live services, addressing issues on a rotational, on-call basis.
- Identify solutions and mitigations for simple issues impacting the performance or functionality of Live Site services.
- Stay informed about current developments and actively seek new knowledge to enhance the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.
- Drive consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrate proven experience in coding, utilizing languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, encompassing data structures, algorithms, operating systems, design patterns, and related topics.
