Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the category team to define their requirements for sourcing events, aiding in drafting documents such as SOWs, position postings, and business requirement documentation.
- Create RFP documents, manage supplier RFIs, analyze responses, and facilitate negotiations and selection when necessary.
- Provide contract-related support to the category team, including identifying expiring contracts, liaising with stakeholders to extend or terminate contracts, initiating legal contracts based on agreed templates and clauses, and monitoring contract compliance.
- Conduct spend analysis, maintain reports, and perform research to support category plans.
- Work closely with category leaders to cultivate alternative sources and evaluate existing or new sources, moving away from single source relationships.
- Apply best practices opportunistically to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Alternatively, hold a high school diploma with a substantial background in sourcing experience.
Preferred skills:
- Possess relevant experience in indirect sourcing, along with expertise in supplier and stakeholder relationship management.
- Demonstrate experience in collaborating with global stakeholders, suppliers, and clients outside India.
- Showcase professional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong negotiation skills.
- Have knowledge of the local marketplace, legislation, and suppliers.
- Bring experience in a middle office-type setup, involving running sourcing events, seeking guidance from category leaders, and possessing strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across all organizational levels.
