Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the design and development of software solutions, leveraging general domain knowledge and limited business experience.
- Engages in all layers of the application stack, encompassing front-end user interface and backend development.
- Addresses code issues through troubleshooting, evolving IQVIA’s platforms to align with user requirements and needs.
- Participates in the review of functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.
- Develops a foundational understanding of industry and adheres to IQVIA-specific quality standards.
- Supports small-scale development projects following specific instructions and with limited discretion.
- Typically requires no prior relevant experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent in experience is required.
Preferred skills:
- Demonstrates experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python, along with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of object-oriented programming.
- Proficient in website development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Bonus points for experience with React and NodeJS.
- Exhibits an understanding of relational databases, and while experience with basic SQL queries is desired, it is not mandatory.
