Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial close entries and balance sheet reconciliations, covering areas such as cash, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, payables, intercompany/consolidation, and accruals.
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to handle all financial aspects of assigned partnerships, including the maintenance of KPIs for corporate expenditures and operational metrics.
- Generate monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for senior leadership.
- Assist management in monthly and quarterly financial reviews by documenting analyses that explain unusual adjustments and deviations from the budget.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Possesses a minimum of 1-2 years of practical accounting experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Brings experience in budgeting, month-end processes, and accruals.
- Exhibits a keen attention to detail along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Displays strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Adapts effectively to changing business requirements and adeptly manages multiple priorities.
- Works well both independently and collaboratively within a team.Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Shows a customer service focus with a demonstrated ability to communicate courteously and promptly.
- Eligible to work in the United States and travel freely without the need for sponsorship.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in using a CRM system, with specific experience in Salesforce.
- Familiarity with accounting software, including expertise in NetSuite or a comparable large-scale ERP platform.
- Experience working with Coupa, showcasing proficiency in the platform.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with FloQast, a tool similar to Blackline, indicating expertise in financial close and accounting processes.
