Key Responsibilities for Software Developer Intern:
- Collaborate on product ideas, incubation projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with Senior Leads and Mentors to define scope, conduct feasibility studies, perform technical analysis, and develop a working prototype or MVP that showcases the idea.
Key Responsibilities for Technology Engineer Intern:
- Technical Solution Development: Collaborate with the broader technical team to comprehend customer requirements and utilize IBM’s products and services to address specific challenges within a solution.
- Growth Mindset: Demonstrate the ability and eagerness to apply technology/products to a solution by quickly assimilating guiding documents. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen desire to learn and develop quality code within an Agile process.
- Product Knowledge: Cultivate a profound understanding of IBM’s product portfolio, stay abreast of the latest advancements and technologies, and effectively communicate their benefits to potential customers. Develop competitive knowledge for the assigned product portfolio.
- Sales Support: Offer technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops, showcasing the feasibility and effectiveness of IBM solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, solution proposals, and technical documentation. Ensure seamless communication within the team and uphold a well-documented sales process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in an Computer Science Engineering discipline.
Preferred skills:
- Basic knowledge of at least one coding or scripting language.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for delivering compelling elevator pitches, particularly crucial for customer interactions.
- Familiarity with public cloud offerings, including expertise in compute, networking, storage, security, etc.
- Fundamental understanding of programming languages, with a preference for Java.
- Knowledgeable about Cloud and Cognitive computing.
- Proficient in data structures and algorithms.
