Key Responsibilities:
- Extracting test cases from the acceptance criteria of user stories.
- Implementing test automation for all features and stories within the team’s scope.
- Adhering to established quality processes throughout the release work.
- Actively participating in design and architecture discussions.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting issues within running regression suites.
- Demonstrating the ability to grasp complex technical issues.
- Operating effectively and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0-3 years of technical experience for SE1 and 3-5 years for SE2 in Quality Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in CoreJava concepts with hands-on programming capability.
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation.
- Familiarity with API testing using REST.
- Experience or aptitude to comprehend existing Automation Framework.
- Competence in Test Planning for defining and writing various tests.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience or understanding of CI/CD deployments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC setup.
- Understanding and testing of MicroServices.
- Knowledge or experience with Cloud-based platforms and technologies.
- Previous experience working with Jenkins.
