Key Responsibilities:
- Offers technical expertise in designing and developing solutions using Snowflake and analytics solutions.
- Designs, develops, or re-engineers highly complex application components, integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects across multiple platforms.
- Designs, builds, optimizes, and supports new and existing data models and ETL processes based on client business requirements.
- Builds, deploys, and manages data infrastructure capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly growing data-driven organization.
- Coordinates data access and security to facilitate easy access to data for data scientists and analysts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- In-depth understanding of Snowflake internals and the integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting technologies.
- Familiarity with Snowflake architecture and features, including time travel, procedures, analytical functions, and Data Building Tool (DBT).
- Experience in data migration and modernization from custom databases to the cloud-based Snowflake platform.
- Proficient in performance tuning for optimal system functionality.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, metadata management, data lakes, multi-dimensional models, and data dictionaries.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles.
- Hands-on experience in constructing scalable end-to-end data ingestion and processing solutions.
- Expertise in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages, such as Python, Java, and Scala.
