Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform other necessary incidental tasks associated with the job.
  • Professionally and efficiently handle incoming phone calls.
  • Serve as a customer resource by providing information about products, company structure, and operations, effectively directing inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
  • Understand customer issues, assess urgency, define the scope of the issue, prepare for escalation, and triage to the correct escalation team.
  • Assist approximately 60 customers daily through a ticketing system, creating and updating tickets related to incoming calls.
  • Resolve administrative calls without the need for escalation to a second-line team.
  • Adhere to the schedule provided by workforce optimization.
  • Verify callers using approved Rackspace methods.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Equivalent to a High School Diploma in the regional context.
  • Attention to Detail: Displays a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring that detailed information is accurately recorded. Value Analysis: Furnishes customers with fundamental, standard information about products/offerings.
  • Moderate proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Proficient in following standardized processes and procedures, and able to identify situations requiring escalation.

Preferred skills:

  • Successfully completed 1 to 2 years of higher education classes.
  • Possesses knowledge as a Customer Service Specialist.
  • Gains a comprehensive understanding of Rackspace, including its operations and service offerings.
  • Develops knowledge and skills to execute basic activities in their role.
  • Understands how assigned duties integrate with the responsibilities of others in the team.
