Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary analysis, evaluating the depth and seriousness of security issues.
- Implement strategies to mitigate, contain, and resolve incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis, or RCA, to improve mitigation and detection strategies.
- Find ways to automate processes so that SOC operations can run more smoothly.
- Create playbooks for upcoming use cases in monitoring.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
Preferred skills:
- Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and attack vectors.
- Analytical skills to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of security protocols and encryption techniques.
