Key Responsibilities:
- Create disaster recovery strategies, protocols, and guidelines for restoring critical business applications.
- Verify the success of each DR replication.
- Assess and analyse DR gaps (deficiencies in replications, RPO, and RTO), and help with the design and implementation of DRP solutions.
- Determine whether adjustments to hardware or software configurations have an impact on the results of the disaster recovery plan by working with the IT department and other important individuals.
- As part of the business impact study process, support technologies and infrastructure assessments are performed.
- Operate in a complicated environment because of globally distributed components that depend on numerous systems and end users (internal and external)
- Map creation and upkeep for DR
- Report on DR status to the Global Corporate DR Manager and make sure that all disaster recovery plans are periodically evaluated and updated.
- Through a change management process, establish and maintain comprehensive DR communications and command and control strategies.
