Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies the business environment’s IT goals, objectives, and requirements.
- Tracking delivery and performance metrics for IT.
- Supports and contributes to IT landscape planning, budgeting, design, implementation, operation, and/or maintenance.
- Aids IT management procedures and supports the modification and definition of modules and applications.
- Provides business-accountable management of the unit with recommendations on all IT-related concerns along the value chain or in certain situations.
- Carries out IT policies and procedures.
- In addition to designing and documenting new processes, one may organise pertinent unit and integration testing. cooperates with centralised IT in this regard or engages in accountable communication with suppliers and service providers to address key local IT issues.
- Drives major IT reform initiatives locally or regionally.
- Supports the execution of IT security policies and change-release procedures.
- Manages intricate IT updates and installs, and completes communication network integration.
- Identifies IT issues and looks for solutions that don’t affect end users.
- Keeps up with changes in the field involving IT trends and technologies.
- Usually answers to a team leader or IT manager.
