Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding corporate objectives and the context of related market research is a sign of being business-oriented.
- Quick learner – able to understand and use knowledge of market research to debate and interpret survey design aspects (sample, quotas, methodology, questionnaire structure, etc.).
- Team player who can work well with partners, third-party providers, and survey programmers to implement online surveys and collect data.
- Ability to engage in quality evaluation of online surveys before they are launched, as well as data handling and administration skills that allow data to be validated and cleaned before being processed further.
- Application of theoretical principles in statistics (using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate approaches) and solid statistical expertise. able to pick up and use specialised survey data analysis technologies rapidly in order to produce useful data analytics results (e.g., SPSS, Sawtooth, etc.)
- Powerful data interpretation skills. To translate and process survey data and to create formula/macro driven models and simulators, learn Alteryx and advanced Excel.
- A talent for visualising the results of analysis. Learn how to portray analytics output using visualisation tools like PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight, and practise using them.
- Working with virtual, multicultural, international teams that require interaction across time zones.
- Dealing with uncertainty and ad hoc scenarios while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Juggling multiple tasks, such as developing relationships, networking, and informal business.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics and relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics (projects/coursework/internships).
- Candidates with the following educational backgrounds will be preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics.
Preferred skills:
- 0–1 years of relevant expertise in the areas of data analytics and market research.
- Strong analytical skills in data processing, administration, and analysis.
- Powerful practical experience Advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
- Additional tool knowledge, including that of SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, and SQL, will be advantageous.
- Strong familiarity with and aptitude for managing databases and analytical tools.
- Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently in a matrix organisation, with strong capacity to deal with many, geographically dispersed teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Able to set priorities, manage workload, and interact freely with top stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player with excellent work ethics and a focus on service quality, with great interpersonal skills and credibility.
- English: Effective written and verbal communication.
