Key Responsibilities:
- Work with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Test Effort Estimation, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Test Reporting.
- Provide a practical approach to complex testing, particularly in the areas of test case automation for regression testing.
- Understand source code, version control, and code deployment standards. Ensure that test environment QA processes and procedures are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not jeopardised.
- Ensure that standardised QA policies, processes, and documentation standards are followed.
- Assist in the creation of test cases. During projects, test cases are reviewed to ensure that quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
- Maintain a billable utilisation target that is aligned with the role.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to assist clients with their implementations.
- Working from home while collaborating with global teams to deliver across borders. We may require you to be flexible with your work schedule.
- Interact with, communicate with, and follow up with development and customer teams throughout the testing phase.
- Ability to adapt to customer processes and incorporate them into day-to-day work as needed while maintaining best practises and quality.
- Help with internal defect triage calls.
- As needed, assist the customer with UAT testing.
- Assist with defect triage calls during UAT.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
- The core competencies for the role will be used to evaluate experience (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- A minimum of two years of QA experience is required.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform is required.
- Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and prior experience working in an Agile environment are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect, isolate, and document flaws.
- Extensive experience with large-scale software deployments.
- SCRUM and Salesforce certification(s) are a huge plus.
- Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practises is a significant advantage.
- adaptability to short sprint cycles (2 weeks).
- Knowledge of the entire software lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.
- Capability to motivate others, instill accountability, and produce results.
